What gave you the idea for this shirt design?
I drew an angel because I want to remind people that we have higher beings watching over us.
What do you want people to think or feel when they see your design?
That there is hope for more.
What makes you feel really proud about yourself?
When my accident happed the doctors told me I was never going to walk again, but now I can walk for miles on the treadmill.
Would you like to share how your disability helps or changes your art?
After my brain surgery, the left side of my body was affected and altered so I use my hand allows me to keep my artwork in place while drawing.
Their story
Allie and I grew close at Young Life camp in January. Her story—overcoming a traumatic brain injury—completely changed my perspective on life. I created Wild Child to highlight life-altering stories like hers, as a reminder that hope and love are always present.

Making my art unique and give it meaning.
